Join the IDESST Sausalito Portuguese Cultural CenterWe welcome new members to join the IDESST Sausalito Portuguese Cultural Center in celebrating and promoting Portuguese culture. Center membership is intended for individuals, couples and families who share an interest in and commitment to the preservation and promotion of Portuguese culture and history. We ask all of our members to participate and make an active contribution through volunteering in Center events that promote our Portuguese traditions and culture. Children under 18 are automatically included as non-voting Center members. Membership is on a calendar year basis and membership renewals are due on Jan 1st of any calendar year. New members who join in the last quarter of the year (on or after October 1) will have their membership extended through the following calendar year at no additional cost. Annual Dues
$35 per individual member / $50 per couple
To apply for a new membership, you may apply and pay online by submitting our preferred, Online Membership Application. Just complete the following questionnaire below. Joint memberships: Be sure to add your 2nd family member when you submit your membership application. Applications will be approved by our Board of Directors at the next meeting (most 2nd Thursdays of each month). You will receive a confirmation email as soon as your membership is approved. Dues Payment Your membership is not considered “active” until payment is received and processed and the membership is approved at the next Board of Directors meeting. Dues may be paid online (click on Pay Online button in application window) or by check through standard mail. New members will receive notification of approval of their application and a Welcome Kit by email. |

 *Requests for Letters to the Portuguese Government for Citizenship or Permanent Residency Requirements | Member must demonstrate active, ongoing participation in our organization. This involvement is demonstrated by attending and volunteering at our events, by serving on the Board of Directors, chairing an event, or serving on committees. A minimum of two years of active participation, with membership in good standing, is required before any letter can be issued. This period of volunteerism and participation and contribution of your time and energy to our organization demonstrates true interest in and genuine investment in the health and future of our organization.
