Our Venue The Sausalito Portuguese Cultural Center, located on Caledonia Street just one block from the beach and marina, is among the largest and best-value rental venues in Marin. The Center offers over 5,000 square feet of premium event space, including a 2,800 sq. ft. ballroom with beautiful hardwood floors and a separate 2,400 sq. ft. dining room.
The rooms can be rented individually or combined, featuring more than 30 banquet tables and over 275 padded chairs, a bar and lounge area, a large kitchen for caterer staging, and a welcoming foyer. Key amenities include a ballroom dance floor, dimmable chandelier lighting, Casablanca fans, a cathedral-height wood-beam ceiling, a dressing area/green room, high-speed internet, and attractive landscaping. A maple bar connects the ballroom and dining spaces, enhancing the flow for events. Recent upgrades include new heating and air conditioning throughout. For all high-impact events, onsite security guards and a facility attendant are required to ensure smooth operations.
